- Right-click anywhere in the
Server Explorer, and click
.
This opens the
New Enterprise Server Common Web Administration Connection dialog box.
- In the
Name field, type
Local.
- In the
Server address field, type
localhost.
- Click
Finish.
The local ESCWA connection is listed in the
Server Explorer.
- Expand
.
The
ESMAC Sign On window prompts you to enter credentials to connect to the server.
- Use the credentials
RFADATA for both Username and Password, then click
OK.
The BANKDEMO data repository is displayed in
Server Explorer.
The BANKDEMO data server is now set up and ready for editing.
- In
Server Explorer, select
MFI01V.MFIDEMO.BNKACC. The
Properties pane is populated with information about the dataset.
- Double-click
MFI01V.MFIDEMO.BNKACC in the
Server Explorer to open the dataset in the
Record Editor.
From left to right, the indexed file is structured in the following way:
- Offset, a 5-digit value indicated by gray text.
- Secondary key, a 5-digit value indicated by blue text.
- Primary key, a longer string indicated by red text.
Tip: You can set the colors of the offset, primary key and secondary key in the
Preferences.
The dataset is now ready to be edited.
