Predicates

This topic identifies the many different kinds of predicates that can appear in WHERE clauses. The XDB Server uses the test conditions defined in WHERE clause predicates to qualify table row (record) retrieval in a SELECT command statement. Any of the following predicates may also qualify records in UPDATE and DELETE command statements.
