Restriction: This topic applies to Windows environments only.
Properties:
Where it can be set:
Only in a data profile in the SYSXDB.SYSPROFILES table
Possible Values:
Yes or no
Default:
Yes
Comments:
You can prevent users setting data connection properties to inappropriate values when they enter the URL, by setting canoverride to "No". If you want to use the canoverride property for this purpose, make sure that all the profiles have canoverride set to "No." If even one profile has canoverride set to "Yes," users can specify that profile and set other data connection properties to any values they choose.
To create a single profile that cannot be overridden, set this property to "No" and make sure that the default property entry is also present.
Do not prefix the property name with the name of the profile (profile).
