Issues with the Installation

The setup file will install Enterprise Developer fully only on 64-bit Windows. On 32-bit Windows, not all product components will install. This is because some of the components require a 64-bit Java 8 which requires a 64-bit Windows.
You can still run the setup file on 32-bit Windows which installs the command line support for COBOL and PL/I. The following components will not be available:
- The Eclipse IDE
- The 64-bit Enterprise Developer Command Prompt
- The Enterprise Developer product Help
On 32-bit Windows, you can manually install the Enterprise Developer functionality into an existing 32-bit installation of Eclipse. See Installing Enterprise Developer into other instances of Eclipse.
