Purpose

Equivalent to POINTERADD(x,-y).

Syntax

POINTERSUBTRACT(x,y)

Abbreviation(s): PTRSUBTRACT for POINTERSUBTRACT.

Parameters

x: A pointer expression.

y: Expression that has a computational type and is converted to FIXED BINARY(31,0).

Description

POINTERSUBTRACT is equivalent to POINTERADD(x,-y). It can be abbreviated as PTRSUBTRACT.
