Tutorial: Web-Enabled CICS Acting as a Web Server

  1. Introduction
    This tutorial walks you through the process of implementing and running the Web-enabled version of the sample transaction ACCT.
  2. Create Project and Configure Server
    In this step, you create an enterprise server with the Mainframe Subsystem Support (MSS), configure it for the ACCTWEB application, and run the application under Enterprise Server/MSS.
  3. Set Up the ACCTWEB Application
    Having created, configured, and started an enterprise server with MSS for ACCT, and the Web-enabled version ACCTWEB, you need to create a VSAM file for the ACCTWEB application to execute properly.
  4. Run the ACCTWEB Application
    In this step, you run the CICS Web-enabled application.
  5. Debug the Application
    In this step, you debug your CICS Web-enabled application.
