On the Enterprise Server Administration home page, click
Add.
Page 1 of the
Add server wizard appears.

In the
Server Name field, type
RED, then click
Next.
Page 2 of the
Add server wizard appears.

Ensure that
Micro Focus Enterprise Server with Mainframe Subsystem Support is selected, then click
Next.
Page 3 of the
Add server wizard appears.

In the
System Directory field, type
c:\HA\RED (Windows only).
On UNIX platforms, you'll use the default system directory location, which is
/var/mfcobol/es/RED.

Select
Show Local Console.

Clear the
Create TS3270 listener option.

In the
Configuration Information field, type the following:
[ES-Environment]
ES_HA_VSAM=Y;RED,localhost,9045,86;GREEN,localhost,9046;BLUE,localhost,9047
This assumes that you are running MFDS on the standard port number of 86. See
Configure the High Availability Group Environment Variable for full syntax options for this variable.

Click
Add.
The primary server is created, and appears in the table on the Enterprise Server Administration home page.
You can now create the standby servers.
