The Analysis Browser has the following features. You can:
- Double-click a file reference and go directly to that line in the relevant editor or painter.
- Sort the display in alphabetical order (or the reverse) by column. Click the column heading to do this and click it again
to reverse the order.
- Search for items by entering text, and wildcards if you want, in the entry field at the top of the browser window. You click
Find Items at the top right of the window to start the search.
- Show only items you are interested in by setting the browser options. Click
Options at the top right of the window to do this.
For example, you could display just programs, copybooks and screens. Alternatively, you could display only direct references
at the top level, instead of both indirect and direct references. Showing only direct references can make the analysis easier
to interpret.
The options you choose and the layout for the browser are used the next time you invoke the Analysis Browser.
