Deleting a Group

When you delete a GroupID, all privileges associated with that group are deleted and all members of the deleted group are dissociated from that group.

Instructions for how to delete a group are provided below. See the description of the Groups dialog box for information about each item on that dialog box.

To delete a group:

1. Click the Groups command from the Admin menu to display the Groups dialog box.
2. Click the Group Name drop-down list to select the GroupID you want to delete.
3. Click the Delete button. You are prompted to confirm deletion of the selected group.
4. Add, delete, or update other groups if desired. When done, click the Close button to exit the Groups dialog box.
