Running a Query
Running a query causes the SQL command to be sent to the XDB Server where the desired columns and rows are retrieved and sent back to SQLWizard to display in a Result window. Before you can run a query, you must have specified at least one table and one column.
To run an open query from a Query Design window:
- Click the Query Design window to make it the current window.
- From the Query menu, click the Run command
Click the
Run button on the toolbar or, from the Catalog Browser dialog box, click the
Query tab, a query, and the
Batch button.
