If the embedded TN3270 mainframe display is already open and is connected to a different server, when you start debugging your application, you receive a notification asking you to confirm the server switch. You can turn this notification on or off from the TN3270 display options in the IDE.
The IDE preserves the last state, size, and position of the embedded Rumba Mainframe Display:
You can reopen the emulator manually either from the Visual Studio debug toolbar or from the Debug menu. If the embedded Rumba mainframe display remains closed until the debug session ends, it does not open automatically next time you start debugging.
You debug Mainframe Subsystem applications using the Visual Studio debugger. When debugging ends, the embedded mainframe display closes.
