Depending on the location of files created from an
Enterprise Developer command prompt, you might need to start it as an administrator. To do this:
- Windows 7 and Earlier

- From your desktop, click
Start > All Programs > Micro Focus Enterprise Developer > Tools.
- Depending on your operating system, right-click either
Enterprise Developer Command Prompt (32-bit) or
Enterprise Developer Command Prompt (64-bit); then select
Run as administrator from the context menu.
- If prompted, click
Yes.
- Windows 8, 8.1, and Windows Server 2012

- From the
Start screen, right-click either the
Enterprise Developer Command Prompt (32-bit) or the
Enterprise Developer Command Prompt (64-bit) tile.
- On the bottom of the page, click
Run as administrator.
- If prompted, click
Yes.
- Windows 10 and Later

- Click
Start > Micro Focus
Enterprise Developer >
Enterprise Developer, right-click
Command Prompt (32-bit) or
Enterprise Developer Command Prompt (64-bit) and click
More > Run as Administrator.
