To edit a PL/I file

To edit a PL/I source file (.pli) or an include file (.inc):

  1. Double-click the file in Solution Explorer to open it in the editor.

    The PL/I editor displays different types of keywords in different colors, which you can change by selecting Tools > Options > Environment > Fonts and Colors, and selecting a PL/I item in the Display items dialog.
