Deleting a data set

If the Mainframe Explorer window is not displayed, click View > Mainframe Explorer.

Note: You can only delete partitioned data sets.

In the Mainframe Explorer window, log on to the mainframe.
Expand the required search filter, select the required data sets, then right-click and select Delete dataset.
Tip: To select more than one data set, hold down Ctrl while selecting the required data sets.
Click Yes or Yes to all, as appropriate. The selected data sets are deleted.
