Upgrading EKS to Version 1.19

The process of upgrading an AWS cluster involves upgrading EKS to version 1.19. To perform the EKS upgrade to 1.19, the cluster must be upgraded to version 1.18, then to version 1.19.

To upgrade EKS:

1. Log in to the AWS console.
2. Navigate to the Elastic Kubernetes Service console.
3. Click Clusters.
4. Next to your cluster, click Upgrade now.

5. Select Kubernetes version 1.18, and click then click Update.
6. After the update completes, repeat the process to update to version 1.19.
