Changing Streams

To change a stream’s name, its basis stream, or (for dynamic and time basis streams only) its basis time from the Depot Explorer:

Tip: Changing the basis stream has the same effect as reparenting.

Note: This procedure does not apply to snapshot streams.

Select the stream.
Right-click the stream and choose Change Stream.
Optionally change one or more of the following: Name, Basis stream, Basis time (dynamic and time basis streams only).
Click Ok to complete the change.
