Long-running commands, AccuRev Searches, AccuRev History, Refresh, Populate, Diff Against, and Merge, can be run in the background. When the command begins execution, a pop-up window appears.
Clicking Run in Background closes the window and places a “show progress” button in the lower right corner of the Eclipse window.
Clicking the “show progress” button opens a standard Eclipse Progress view, which provides information on all background commands. You can cancel a background command in the Progress view, by clicking its red button.
If you click Details in the window, the command continues to run in the foreground. A progress view, as described above, is added to the pop-up window.
