Using the Open Command

The Open command is available throughout the AccuRev Web UI. You can use Open to:

• Display a stream's contents in a File Browser tab.
• Open a directory in the File Browser's Details pane to display the directory contents in that pane.
• Open a binary file using the program configured to open that file in your operating system. If the file cannot be opened within the web browser, you are prompted to open the file using an external program or save the file to disk.
• Open a text or ptext file to display the file's contents in a new AccuRev Web UI tab, as shown here:
