The
Issue Search tab displays issues in the current depot with fields that match the text string entered in the Issue
Search field:
If you want to see, and modify, the query used to search the depot, click the
Show Search Query button on the right side of the toolbar. When you do this, a panel is added to the
Issue Search tab to display the query:
Click the
Hide Search Query button to collapse this panel. You can modify this query as you would any other. See
Using the Query Editor for information on working with queries.
Working with the Issue Search Tab
The following commands are available for items in the
Issue Search tab.
- Open Issue
- Opens the selected issue in
AccuWork or a third-party issue tracking tool. See
Open Issue.
- Show Change Package
- Shows the change package contents for the selected item in a separate tab.
- Export
- Allows you to export the contents of the current table as either
XML or a
CSV file. In most browsers, you are prompted to view the report or save it to a file. By default, the file name is
Report.ext, where ext is either
XML or
CSV. To export a table:
- Click the
Export Actions button
.
- Choose
Export to XML or
Export to CSV from the list.
- Follow the save or open instructions presented by your browser.
- Print
- Sends the contents of the current table to a printer. When you click the
Print button,
AccuRev displays a standard print dialog box that allows you to specify printer name, page ranges, number of copies, and so on.
AccuRev provides identifying header information and formatting for the output. (You cannot customize the report header or formatting.)
Note: Print functionality for tables that display issues allows you to print the table, or detailed reports for one or more issues.

- Allows you to perform basic mathematical operations (add and subtract, for example) on any two columns with
numeric values. A new column is created to display the results. See
