1. Overview of the AccuRev®
Command-Line Interface

This chapter provides an orientation to the AccuRev command-line interface (CLI). Before continuing, make sure that:

•	You have installed the AccuRev client software on your computer.

•	The AccuRev server and database server software has been installed on a computer to which you have a network connection. Running the client and server software on the same machine is fine, too; this is typical for a pre-sales evaluation of the product.

•	You have read the AccuRev Concepts Manual.
