Query Editor

You use the Query Editor dialog box to create and edit queries in the Query Browser.

Opening the Query Editor

To open the Query Editor:

1.	Display the Query Browser.

If you want to:

•	Create a new query, go to Step 2.

•	Edit an existing query, go to Step 3.

2.	Click the New Query button ().

The Query Editor appears. See Creating a Query for more information.

3.	Select the query you want to edit from the Query List pane.

4.	Click the Edit Query button ().

The Query Editor appears; it displays the definition of the query you selected in Step 3.

Using the Query Editor

Tools for working with queries in the Query Editor are the same as those used create queries in the New Query tab. See Working with the Query Builder for more information.
