What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based format for sharing and distributing Web content, such as news headlines. Using an RSS reader, you can view data feeds from various news sources, such as microfocus.com, including headlines, summaries, links to full stories.
Subscribing to Micro Focus RSS feeds
To subscribe to Micro Focus RSS feeds you will need an RSS news reader (also known as News Aggregators). There are many different free and commercial version of News Readers available for download:
Search for News Readers (Google)
Many News Readers are separate, "stand-alone" programs; other services will let you add RSS feeds to a Web page (note: Micro Focus does not endorse the use of any particular RSS news reader or service).
Once you have chosen a news reader, all you have to do is decide what content you want. You will see orange RSS buttons around the site like this:
. So, if you would like the latest Micro Focus Press Releases, simply subscribe to the feed by clicking on the orange RSS button or associated link. For example:
![]() | Press Releases |
![]() | In the News |
![]() | Customer Successes |
![]() | Podcasts |
You can subscribe to the feed in various ways, including dragging the URL of the RSS feed into your news reader or by cutting and pasting the URL into a new feed in your reader. For more details of how to subscribe to feeds see the help that comes with your reader.
