Micro Focus proudly announces the upcoming release of Liant Version 12. This includes new and improved releases of RM/COBOL and related products, Xcentrisity, and Relativity. We remain committed to being your long-term COBOL solution provider.
Version 12 adds many major enhancements and improvements:
RM/COBOL:
Larger capacity and increased efficiency for RM/COBOL identifiers, data items, and reference modification.
Improved compatibility with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista.

Xcentrisity:

Microsoft Windows Server 2008 fully supported.
Internet Protocol Version 6 (IPv6) is now supported on Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008.
Relativity:
The Designer's Nullable Utility now displays the names of the tables selected for processing.
UNIX data client computes and shows the number of rows in tables; shows the indexes for tables.
Designer mechanism for invoking the Relativity Configuration control panel applet and its help file.
Plus, all products have received numerous refinements that improve existing functionality and performance. The result is one of Liant’s most stable and reliable releases.

Micro Focus Acquires Liant
Micro Focus has acquired Liant to strengthen its position in the delivery of technology within the Application Development market. The acquisition gives Micro Focus additional application development tools and extra programming language expertise, especially PL/I. The new technology assets and skills will extend the Micro Focus solutions portfolio.
